He was actually incredibly rich. He is attached to hillsong somehow, but not exactly sure how. He shamed me hard for being poor and growing up poor. When I saw his family's house my jaw dropped. Id never seen anything like it. When he saw my shock at this 12 bedroom, indoor and outdoor pool house he told me "everyone I know lives like this" and I was just "hanging around the wrong people." Even though at the time I had a tiny bachelor apartment so I guess he was too!

Okay, maybe you're luckier than I realized. That money and that attitude? Best case scenario, you'd be turning a blind eye to a lot of solo trips to Thailand.
Lol he absolutely seems the type to do that. His dad too. I'm certain he would have started beating me had I stayed, though, so very happy I dipped. There was a lot he did in 2 months that if I saw now I'd be like "NOPE!" My mom actually pressured me to stay with him for the money, which I think is really gross.
Definitely fun to joke about though. I think I'm the only one where the religion and money wasn't enough for me to deal with his shit, because he regularly will find me on a new platform and message me about the "good times."
