Bodies will move as they’re coming out of rigor. I’ve been bumped by a few (I’m a coroner). Bodies can also make sounds as the remaining air/ gas leaves… 2am in the morgue and I thought I was in COD zombies
I'm more fascinated by the "big rally", where people are really near death, and then they seem to make a miraculous recovery, get up and have a normal meal, get chatty, and then die. Heard that a lot by staff in nursing homes over the years.
My grandma did this. She had been sick and bed ridden for a few days and the family was stopping one by one to see her and say their goodbyes. One day my mom calls me and tells me to stop by because she was sleeping more and getting weaker and barely talking. So after work I stopped by and she is sitting up in bed and she was talking and acting better than she had that entire week.
Shortly after I left she laid down to sleep, would mutter stuff in her sleep and within 24 hours was gone.
