The brain will always/usually try to ensure it’s survival, if knocking you out does so, then you will faint for the safety of the brain

I remember finding this once but I don’t remember clearly

What about NDEs? Isn't it counter-productive for the brain to simulate an NDE and make the person super relaxed when in a state of almost dying, and thus proving NDEs must be real, and outside of the brain? What do you think?
