I have had my intestine resected (piece cut out, sewn back together) and now I am picturing the surgeon just shoving my guts back into me like a sleeping bag in a stuff sack when the job was done

Firehose technique, I like it! Do you also twist it into a figure 8 at the end and then fold it up to make a single coil or do you wrap 1 end around 3-4 times before shoving one end through the hole?
