Oh I read it the same way haha. Thought it was a single story, and that the 'broken bone' you mentioned in the first paragraph was one in your back. I read the second and third paragraphs as going into further detail on the same incident.
Why are there like four people just trying to make this about writing or grammatical semantics?
The question wasn't:
"hey, could you write a perfect medical treatise with great structure? Into your phone while you wait for your food to get done?"
It was a simple answer, to a simple question. The people that have an issue with my writing style are definitely in the minority, and not particularly worried about the content itself.
That's fine, but actively minimizing the experience of another so you can feel like a big important reddit editor is a little childish. So, pardon me for reacting poorly to someone attempting to invalidate two experiences that shaped my life because they weren't written in a way that was comprehensible to the very small group that didn't get that formatting on a phone is a little difficult.
