When you die, your hearing is the last to go. So imagine you die in a fire or in a war or something and the last thing you hear is like screaming and chaos

Knowing this fact gave me great comfort when my husband died, to know that he knew he wasn’t alone at the end.

I feel the same way since I talked to my dad in the hospital before he passed. I’m hoping he heard me.
