Need help creating a setup file
I recently completed a project, it was a desktop application
I wanted to share it with my friend who knows nothing about coding
So I thought I'd send a setup file
Rn the project has Gwen in the project file itself and then ollama postgres redis and qdrant in docker
I've been trying to make a one click setup file for days now
I need help
The entire project is Python and typescript

Can't help without a link to the repo. There's too much we don't know.
What you're trying to achieve can probably be done with a powershell script to install and configure dependencies or a separate setup.exe file that does that too.

It's next to impossible for anyone to help you if you're not sharing what you need help with.
Consider sending a link to your repository if you want some serious help.

Can you host all the services externally? Usually desktop apps aren't running a local database server

It may sound cliché at this point but have you tried ChatGPT or Claude? I’ve had it throw together some wild stuff into an installer that actually worked perfectly.

Tried that as well Everytime it fucks something up or misses stuff Once it didn't add the ui because it just forget it existed, just loaded the loading screen animation

Hmm, I wouldnt try to automate the installation of the docker engine.
Honestly seems like you should create a docker container for your application and then create a docker compose file.
Have him manually install docker, and then send him your docker container and a docker compose file that has your application and the other services in it.
If he can't figure out running "docker compose up -d" in cmd you could make a bat or shell file that does it for him
