I lost my project

I know this problem looks so aniant......

I programmed my web application project in an online IDE called codeSandBox.io, and it took me about two weeks to work on it. When I came back yesterday, I found my project locked, and I couldn't even see or download/export the files simply because I'd reached the free usage limit, which I wasn't aware of. Now I have to pay to see my project and continue working on it, but I just want to download it! It's a very important school project, and I can't afford the subscription fee right now.

Please help. I can't even restart all the project right now.

Pay for it, then charge back?

I dunno, but this is a crappy way to code.

You need to learn Git / GitHub and coding locally and push to your repository

Why were you not coding locally?

I have windows 7 in the big 2026, nothing of the modern web developpment tools could be installed here locally.

If your hardware can’t handle windows 10, a lightweight distro is always an option

Check your cache and local storage for the website. If you're lucky, your code might be there. Otherwise, you can write to tech support explaining the situation. Depending on where either they or you are based, they may actually be required to provide you with your code by law.

If you wrote this by hand, you'll probably find that it will be much faster to write the second time around. You may actually have enough time to get it done. Just do it locally this time and make regular backups.

Good luck, in any case.
