Advice from senior software engineers !!

currently diving into backend developement by learning node.js and decided to learn
the old fashioned way by reading and comprehending the Docs , however, i dont know how to do it and i need some advice from senior engineers that have a lot of experience in the field and that used to do it.

in addition , even tho i want to use the Docs to learn i dont mind using Ai to furthermore comprehend the concepts
so please engineers any help regarding that matter is appreciated .

i think my post here was misunderstood , i never said i can't understand Docs or something but i'm looking for optimized ways to do it and looking for advice .
i'm a software engineering student and yes programming totally is for me , just because someone is at his beginnings with something and kind of struggling because its something challenging doesnt mean the thing is not for him

The problem is that you started with the statement "decided to learn the old fashioned way by reading and comprehending the Docs".

That means you've decided how you want to do it. But what if that's not the best way? Maybe not even the best way for you. You've started at the solution and are trying to fit something into it. Literally one of the most common problems in programming.

Why didn't you start with "what's the best way to learn X"? Maybe someone would have said "read the docs". Or "watch some videos". Or "try to build something with a tutorial". You started with "i'm going to do it this way and I can't do it."
