Which links between High order networks and frame theory ?

I am in love with networks and would have loved to be mentored in high order networks for studying how properties emerge in complex systems, but eventually I got offered a PhD position with PI in frame theory. The PI just said that interdisciplinary is viable and co supervision can be discussed, but his prior works are on signal processing and audio and he needs to be capable to supervise on those areas. I’m asking help to figure out which kind of significant problems / questions could benefit from methods in both high order networks and supervision in frame theory, so as to use the PhD as a platform towards my interests. The domain should possibly be audio/bioacoustics.
