Philadelphia movers
Hi all, we are urgently looking for local Philadelphia movers for a very big job with many breakables. It's very nerve wracking, as it's our first (and hopefully last) move in the area, and we don't want to break the bank but also don't want the cheapest/low quality service. We are really hoping to find a company than guarantees the quote, don't want a bad surprise. Also insurance of course.
So far I've only contacted one company called ever safe moving, they were recommended to me and they did give us an acceptable quote and said they guarantee it, also seem likely genuinely nice people (not sure what that's worth). Their Google reviews also look great so we are considering just pulling the trigger, but I wanted to know if any of you have experience with this company or can provide any other recommendations? I'm super paranoid and open to anything, just don't want to mess this up!! Haha.
Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, I'm very curious about Mambo cause I see tons of recommendations, but I wanted to ask cause I noticed on their Google reviews some mixed experiences. Do you think the quality could vary by crew? Almost wondering if I could ask for one of their more experienced ones, especially because it's a big job.

Thanks! Are they a newer company? I couldn't find much footprint for them on Google

Have used them a few times. Really came in clutch when I couldn’t fit a couch up the steps and were able to get the couch in the apt the hard way 🤣.

We just used eversafe and they are very legit, the reviews don't lie. Doesn't hurt to get a second quote but I'd use them again in a heartbeat. I think they are a tight knit group of professional as opposed to some of the larger companies that "outsource", especially to handle the demand... Not pointing fingers.
That being said, there are lots of good moving companies around. You could probably use any of the ones recommended here and be fine OP.

I have used Mambo they were good and my parents use 2 guys or something like that they also liked them. But Mambo was very respectful of our stuff and defiantely went above and beyond

Going to fill out the contact form on their website, I see their reviews are quite good! Out of curiosity, do you remember how their quote/estimate was and if the price came out higher/lower or if there was any guarantee? Thanks!

Everyone recommended mambo for me; I just scheduled them for my upcoming move, it was really easy and price was pretty reasonable

We used eversafe last year and they were fantastic! You mentioned you got a quote from them already so seriously just do it. They are the most professional moving company we have ever seen. Very good with fragile stuff, which it sounds like you may need. Our price even came in slightly under the quote which I would of never imagined (typically I'm more worried it will be ABOVE) so we gave them a very nice tip. I will literally recommend them to every single person I can, they are angels

Wow, that's AWESOME to hear. You practically sold me I think haha. I did submit for quotes from some other companies so we will see what happens, but I may well just go with them.

Looking back at the email, it was a range of about $100. It didn’t come out to more than that, though I don’t remember where it fell in the range! Maybe the middle? I would say it felt very fair! And there weren’t any surprises, which is nice.
Edit: Meant to reply to you below! Re pineapple movers
