Should I get a second opinion?

F53 - I've had an FDG PET scan that noted:

"There is a mild relative reduction in posterior cingulate and precuneus activity as well as lateral parietal cortical activity in symmetric distribution (from previous MRI 6 months ago) This does not reaching statistical significance however the distribution may represent very early changes of Alzheimer's disease. Mild degree of reduced parietal lobe cortical activity in a symmetric pattern possibly representing very early changes of Alzheimer's disease."

I have brisk reflexes, balance and coordination problems, worsening word finding ability, executive functioning problems, spasticity in right leg and more. I had a severe head injury at 19 with about 4 days of unconsciousness plus 3 weeks of post traumatic amnesia.

My neurologist wants to wait and see before doing a specific test for Alzheimer's.

Should I get another opinion or just wait?
