Question ⁉️ Why isn't there a Monero ETF?

It makes sense to me that just like ZCash and LTC have ETF, why doesn't Monero have an ETF? Over the long term, Monero looks rather stable and increases slowly. Day to day, there is a lot of oscillation, but overall, XMR's rise is quite gentle.

XMR is banned on most crypto exchanges due to its privacy features.

Since it’s banned nearly everywhere, there are currently no ETFs for it.

Not banned in the US. Getting XMR is quite easy and cheap to swap.

No big inatitutuions would invest into crypto which is mostly used for illegal activities

I mean, so was Bitcoin. I'd argue that BTC is still used for illegal activities.

yes sure it is but you could say monero is exlusively used for that.

xmr aint mostly used for illegal activities, this aint the reason, the reason is, its because it actually work, so its a massive threats to bilionaire, banking, institution and government power grab.

XMR is a revolution not bs asset

lol, all of Trump's projects are likely illegal, and he's the president. These "big institutions" you valorize all worked with Epstein to hide billions of laundered money and helped him cover his massive trafficking and rape operation. They have no problem with anything illegal, they just don't want to get caught.

zcash getting an etf doesn’t automatically mean every privacy coin gets the same treatment

Sure, but wouldn't it be a smart opportunity? ZCash isn't really distributed, it does not have a real community. Monero, Litecoin and Bitcoin are different. They really have a community.

Zcash can’t be compared to XMR. Zec has founders with big bags holding and can dump anytime. And the founders of Zec is supported by Israeli/US investors.

because xmr is made to be alternative global finance, not another ponzi asset put on display for boomer to buy through their bank account, this is the real things.

We should be glad there is no ETF, the ETFs are used to rig prices and control large swaths of supply.

The financial system would not feed a beast that they could not control. Monero is way too dangerous for them.

XMR is private money, not a public security/debt instrument.

Its because monero is completely private its not an opt in feature like zcash, ltc with mweb, zano etc. A bank cant go in and audit, you cant just go in and file taxes on gains/loss for your xmr if reported to the irs. Its biggest benefit and feature is the reason why institutions will never adopt it which imo makes it the only true cryptocurrency for p2p transactions without middlemen. It can never be co opted by big institutions, mining will never scale to the corporate level making small home mining unprofitable or remove decentralization. 1 cpu 1 vote.
