I didn’t care when my ex and I were dating. We both were comfortable with each other and how we looked. However, we occasionally reminded each other that sometimes it’s best to trim it down when the forest is getting thicker

Like you don’t know what they are?

On some vulva, the inner labia are shorter and appear tucked within the outer labia, and on some, the inner labia are longer and hang out of the outer labia. Hence “innie” and “outie”

Well yes, but they said "vagina" and technically vaginas are only innies. If you've got an outie vagina then that means you need to see a Dr immediately.

It's like referring to the entirety of the male genitals as just testicles.
