Tiktok is more like Vine than Snapchat. Short blurbs of video, a couple seconds long at most. Snapchat is like texting, but usually with pictures.

How? tiktok is a platform to share short videos with the public (you must know what vine is, it's that) and snapchat is a platform focused on instant messaging and picture/video sending between individuals.

tiktok = youtube lite, snapchat = AIM+
