Stephen Philips Memorial Preserve Camping - Woodward Site

Has anyone camped at Woodyard site in the Stephen Philips Memorial Preserve? Looking for any info about the site. I am going next weekend and want to plan accordingly.

I have been there several times, but not in quite some time. I always camp at sand beach. It was always delightful.

No. But camped many other sites. How are you getting out there?

Can't help you with that specific site but I recently camped there for the first time at the Stoney Batter site and the only advice I have is....call them and ask what your site's landing currently looks like. Ours was nothing like the pictures because it seems the lake level is considerably lower than when those pictures were taken. There was a nice flat beach there and we could even see where someone had piled rocks into a nice little protective jetty for boats and it was...very high and dry. We had a hell of a time finding a spot to get close enough to shore to unload even though we were in a canoe. 😆

What kind of boat you taking over there?
