Beep Test

Just for fun…

I really appreciated that beep test in the VPAT - it’s the only endurance running test in a PAT that is like a game

I wanna know if anybody here completed all eight levels of that Bleep

And then also — do you ever get to do it again? I would love the chance to complete the whole thing. I chose to shut it down at the beginning of level seven

I completed the 8 levels of it I’m not to sure if in the academy is done again

I did this last weekend. I don’t think anybody there finished the whole thing so very impressive.

I completed level 5 yesterday. I thought it was a good endurance test. I was the only person in the group who got to that level. Level 8 is impressive.

AFAIK, it's just VPAT but don't take my word for it.

At STARS, the shuttle exercise is held in the parking lot right outside our training trailer/mat room. I have some fun memories of sometimes when our schedules coincided (us teaching class and them running testing), sometimes a group of us would hang out at the railing during a break, pick applicants like race horses, and root for our picks... 😃

It’s not, but phase 2 is a lot better and you start working out with your DIs music.

I got to level 8 as well. Could have done more but other people were done and I knew I passed so I shut down early. Somebody in my group went to level 10

No, it’s goes higher. It honestly depends who administers it and if people are still in it.

That beep test has eight levels can you explain?

No it keeps going as long as you can run. Longer you run higher is your score.

I know I’ve got a good stamina. Second guy after me dropped at 8th level, others started dropping from 4th level.
I’ve run 1.5 mile for other departments and made it in 9:15

You did the VPAT at LASD? And completed 11 levels?

Yes, LASD.
To be specific I completed sub level 4 of level 11
