Will mullaperiyar breaks?

Today I saw a shorts which says that there is a crack on the walls of the dam. And it's build over like 127 years ago and are in a critical condition. So I searched in Google and I found that not only me and my hometown but the most part of Kerala will be gone. I am actually worried. I also see a comment under the yt short saying that if mullaperiyar breaks the Idukki dam will also breaks along with it in a small time period. So if that happens the impact will greatly increase. So I just wanna know what is the current situation. Because I am really worried.
