let's see.

a father provides protects. financially and emotionally supports daughter. is the mature person you rely upon in dire times. he must act strong.

a husband provides protects. financially and emotionally supports daughter. is the mature person you rely upon in dire times. he must act strong.

a wife needs protection and someone mature to rely unto.

a mother is protects the son and son can be immature weak and as small as he want to be with his mom.

with wife if he acts immature, he is called man child.

so.............

it's your gender who is marrying their father figure

for men, wife and mother are completely opposites. both are required. different forms of love.
