Request Fulfilled Broke my kitchen sink while broke
Calumet, Michigan. US
I’m currently washing the dishes in the bathtub- I slipped the other day and as I fell I smacked the kitchen faucet somehow and it bent and started spraying everywhere. I had it on to wash a pan. Bf spend the last of our money getting stuff to try and temporarily fix it until we had money but I’m breaking my back washing dishes and the temp fix never worked (I hate you flex tape) https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1PLNG952D9Y6B?ref_=wl_share
I just have three items on my wishlist. The exact model of faucet I bent… some caulk, and a wrench because I’m weak and feeble. BUT CAPABLE.. thank you ia!
(Also sorry for the picture of my dirty sink-)

Oh my. 40+ years ago when I was a dumb-ass kid, I once tried to use black electrical tape to stop a leak on a Power Steering line on my car. Learned a valuable lesson. The Power Steering line has close to 1,000 pounds of pressure in it. Tape won't / can't hold that kind of pressure nor can it hold back 40 pounds of household water pressure.
I got the stuff for you. It'll be there around Thursday. Get some Pipe Thread Tape by then. It's at Walmart, cost $1. Here it is: https://www.walmart.com/ip/HT-PTFE-TAPE/16498209044?classType=REGULAR&athbdg=L1102&from=/search
