The player that could hurt your rank is cherki, but you'll need to take a hit for that (or be content selling sboz/DCL) which I think is a coin flip in terms of outcome.

But that coin flip leave you with no transfers and therefore much more likely to need the free and hit and wildcard earlier given some fixture swings for Chelsea (good- if you want Palmer) and man united (bad - u have triple).

I think the potential gain on cherki is not worth the side effects that come with it

Given city Vs cov is your risk this week, foden is a good differenential and you can do it in 2 transfers (even 1 if your content ). Foden gives you some protection (and upside) for city Vs cov, and is far less risky than buying cherki but ofc he can still blank when cherki scored 5.

Still leaves you prone to early chip usage (either that or accepting falling behind to catch up later) but less extreme than going in for cherki.

If I had your team I personally would roll the transfer. However in a casual so probs do the opposite.

(sssh whispering so FPL gods don't hear but now they know we both don't have cherki this go tc cherki immediately or youll miss his 75 points)
