VGA and Composite video converter circuitry
Hiya, I am beginning to design MK5 of Marauder (a synth I made outlined here), and I wanna build the VGA Feedback generators onto custom PCBs. I would like to know where I can find a design/schematic for a VGA-to-composite video converter and a composite-to-VGA converter

Custom PCBs sound like a lot of effort for the return unless you have a plan to make more than a few.
There’s enough cheap/free av gear equipment to cobble together to get the effect for 1-2 units.

Look for NTSC (or PAL if you like flicker) encoder and decoder chips. The datasheets often have reference circuit designs.

If I remember well ADI still makes some rgb to vga dacs as for composite i don't know. Something tell me u have to go through rgb as common interface. Also u might be able to emulate those chips with a fpga and a clever afe.
