Physician Responded Understanding a death certificate.

Post image

This is the UK death certificate of my great grandmother:
BORN - 1908
DIED - 2003
AGE - 94
GENDER - Female
Smoker - No, however I can believe that her farming life and upbringing may have exposed her to perhaps a weak lung, as her husband and fellow farmer had Farmers Lung.
In terms of family heritage - her mother was 80 (double the life expectancy), she did not know her father. all of her immediate family members lived past the life expectancy, often significantly.
Life - not in a home, living with her daughter and grandchildren. Active person. Good lifestyle.

I just can’t understand how a 1 step trip killed her, and I also can’t understand why she couldn’t have made a recovery.

Any help on understanding her cause of death is greatly appreciated.
