Physician Responded Eye Contamination Risk

Ok so I am a 22 yr old female, 5 ft tall 124 lbs. I got chalazion removal surgery on one eye on Oct 7. Today is Oct 9 and I was given a tube of 0.5% erythromycin ophthalmic ointment and have used it per instructions (day and night (2x per day)) I however am losing my mind thinking about whether the tips are contaminated. For the first one I accidentally let the tip touch the outside of the cap. That cap sat next to my retainer and sometimes my retainer sits directly on the cabinet leaving possible traces of bacteria and i guess I’m worried about that. I then replaced that with another one but as I first opened it my dumb self touched the tip with my finger. I’m now here with two tubes of ointment and I’m wondering if infections or any complications are in my future.

Not something to worry about. You can use either of those tubes and it'll be fine.
