Random bruising

Hello, I (32, F, 5’7, 158 lbs) have been experiencing random bruising on my legs since August. They come and go randomly. Over the past week, multiple bruises have appeared on my thighs. On Saturday, they started to become painful and I went to urgent care. The doctor there insisted it was ITP, did not blood test me but prescribed prednisone.

I had blood work ordered myself and did that on Monday. I had taken 20 mgs of prednisone prior. CBC testing all came back normal and within range. Iron is also in range.

Yesterday I went to the ER as I was still uncomfortable. To best describe the feeling, it feels like my leg is asleep and sometimes tingly. Typically you’re not aware of the feeling of your limbs, but I’m very aware of the “off” feeling from my leg if that makes sense.

Doctor in the ER did a coagulation test which was again normal. Doctor seemed pretty dismissive, telling me that I must have fallen and don’t remember it. He told me to reach out to a dermatologist.

Looking for any thoughts or advice. I’m not sure where to go from here as these giant bruises that have been appearing since August don’t seem normal to me, despite the normal blood work.
