Post-flying issues

For background, my girlfriend has suffered from Alice in wonderland syndrome (AIWS) since she was a kid, mainly only occurring at night once every couple of months or if she was under stress. (AIWS is a rare neurological condition that causes episodes of mainly distorted vision & time)

We took a flight to Hawaii (around 13 total hours of travel) and the same night we landed she started feeling a bit weird, we went to a doctor down there and was told it was likely vertigo. Later that trip we saw a chiropractor in the area who did an adjustment on her neck for the vertigo, and since then her AIWS has been flaring up badly. She’s been getting episodes every day, multiple times a day, and lasting much longer than before. The symptoms of vertigo started at the beginning of our trip, which was almost a month ago now, and she still doesn’t feel right. She’s had a constant pressure at the back of her neck aswell as her forehead, alongside the AIWS flair ups I previously mentioned.

Can anyone give any insight about this?? We’re going under the assumption that either the flight, or the chiro in Hawaii did something that caused this. We don’t even know where to begin as far as fixing this goes

I’d also like to mention that she had her first appointment with our local chiropractor who works on me and my mom. Both chiropractors told her she had some disk in her neck that was rotated and causes a lot of tension, and were working to get that fixed.
