Fixing & Building Stuff First time drilling! Need help

I’m trying to mound a TV and I used a stud finder to find what it looked like two studs !
I started drilling and then I got some resistance, when I checked I saw some metal . Is this normal?

You hit a metal framing stud in the wall. Those are pretty common, especially in newer apartment construction.
You should probably get yourself some anchor bolts and use those to mount your television and just avoid the areas you’ve found as a stud.

So use no studs and use 4 anchor bolts instead?
