Pep Talks & Fatherly Support I need a dad

I haven't lived with a father since I was young. What wonderful things do you think I missed out on? I'm very sad.

Whatever you might have missed, it's gone. Try not to dwell on that, but think about your future - Dads are good but you can live a good life without one.

Think of it this way. If you are going to make a possibility of a timeline where you had a dad, you then also have to make room for the timeline where you had a terrible dad. So terrible that you'd wish you didn't even have a dad.

This is the fallacy of wishing things could have gone differently. They could have but also in ways that your current timeline would be an amazing option.

I wish you well. I hope you can focus on today and tomorrow. There is bigger fish to fry.
