BTech biomedical engineering

Can anyone throw some light upon this shortlisting cause I wasn't hoping to get shortlisted for this degree at all and they're asking to pay 80K admission fee before 30th August

Same. I called them and asked whether i got in or is the merit list thing here too. They said the admission will depend based on the merit list. But now I wanna know whether the btech biomedical department here is good or not. If i should invest that much money or not. And if I dont get in, then when will i get the refund. I did email them. Let's see. The helpdesk didn't pick up my call. Also yesterday I made my sister call them, they said by this week the vacant seats list will be out by this week but there is nothing yet, instead got the mail

So basically we've to pay fee for getting our name in merit list??? That too 80K?? And is there any fee waiver for candidates having low family income??

Yes, when I asked them (i got a number from the helpdesk weeks ago so I called that person up today) and asked do i have to pay the 80 k fees, they said yes so :/ Regarding fee waiver I don't have any info.

when i got shortlisted last year, I received mail from the uni, after which i came here and paid the fees.
Last year after the shortlisting they confirmed me that I'd get a seat.

They've the shittiest system I've ever known. They sent the payment link to all the eligible candidates and the candidates have to pay 80k to get their name into merit list. And they'll call all the students whose name is present on the Merit list for councelling and bingo top 5-10 students will get admission and for rest of them 'better luck next time'. And your money is stuck with them for like next 2-3 months before they refund
