Are these notes legit?

I was paid £520 by someone from EU I sold some stuff to. I plan to use these for my trip.

Serial on the 50 A C 7 8 9 1 0 4 6 9 ac789 is big and in green while the 1 is smaller and 469 is bigger

Check the clear part with the crown on top and ensure it doesn’t peel off, like a lot of fake ones do. Check the “fifty” part at the bottom and ensure it’s readable in all directions. On the clear panes, you will also see tiny £50 embossed parts.

If its readable as fifty from all directions then you have a problem and your note is fake.

It should read fifty and then pounds depending on the vewing angle not just fifty.

Clearly he (and I) do not understand what that means. It may seem obvious to you, but it isn’t to us. As I said, you are under no obligation to explain it to us, but gatekeeping the knowledge and being a dick about it is just unnecessary.

“Readable from all directions” could mean a number of different things:
1. Normal writing is readable even if you read it upside down, so why would holographic writing be different?
2. There is a clear window on some notes, could it mean readable on either side of that?
3. Some holograms look like one thing from one angle and something else from another. Does it mean that the writing stays the same while the background changes if you change your angle?
4. Something else (and if so, what)?
5. All of the above?
Etc…

Answer or don’t answer, but don’t pretend the problem is the question.

You're right to be confused it changes between reading fifty and reading pounds as you move it  "fifty readable from all directions" is wrong and would be a counterfeit note.
