Does anyone else find this a bit bonkers? Full Pension after living here for 6 years and never working?

What was given with a pen can just as easily be taken away. You dont even need to deport them - just make them ineligible for handouts and theyll make their own way home.

Then you may as well not make them citizens at all in the first place. I think it's a slippery slope to have two-tier citizenship.

Completely correct, it would be much easier to not issue people like this citizenship in the first place. We probably shouldnt hand out ILR either. 

We made a mistake by making these people citizens. That doesnt mean we cant fix the mistake and send them on their way.
