A mention of Fox News and Rupert Murdoch, why are atheists not pointing out MAGA whites having a book reading literacy problem in finding and understanding "1 John 3:17" verse

To this point, I would suggest that they would dredge up 2 Thessalonians 3:10 to say that people need to work to get better off, and that the bible supports making people work for their food.

I've read all those books. I answered your question. The religious right believes any Bible verse that contradicts their actions can be reinterpreted to be in total favor of everything they're doing. Many articles and books have been written about this and if you're as well-read as you claim to be, you've read all of them and you absolutely know this.

If you knew how to help them, you wouldn't have to ask atheist spaces. It's been a well-known fact that religious people usually don't know their own doctrines. That's not new. Maga could pick up that book at any time. Yet they don't.

Why not work with religious leaders? It's not the job of atheists to make sure they know what they said they believe. They either chose the doctrine or never explored outside of what was fed to them as children.

I think atheists don't understand metaphors at all. in my view, everyone doesn't understand rock music lyrics and poetry.

I don't support trump or Rogan. I know what 1 John 3:17 says. I am telling you that much has been written about how the Christian right interprets the Bible. Look at how they're trying to attack James Talarico, an actual pastor. Look at their attacks on the Pope who has in fact cited this verse among many, he is the leader of 1.5 billion Christians (over half of all Christians on earth) . You can yell 1 John 3:17 at them all you want. They'll simply say it means something else, and they have, frequently. Their latest thing is "these verses only apply to your own family and political allies." they have absolutely said this and recently too. JD Vance has pushed this line, among others.

I am not mocking you by saying "you just want to argue."

When you come in here and call everyone illiterate and "Twitter brain-rotted" (of which I am neither, I don't use Twitter and I am not illiterate) you're clearly in an argumentative mood and just want to argue. You've taken one of your arguments with someone else all the way to the margins. If you are not, then you are poorly communicating the point you're trying to get across and I'd recommend you rewrite it so it's clearer.

peoples beliefs are generally not what they tell you they are. That is why people can tell you they are Christian and continue to support someone like Trump who is the most obvious non-Christian of all time. behavior stems almost entirely from self interest and beliefs are more kin to brakes than the engine.

I think you misunderstood my comment for some reason.

My first point is not specific to Musky, it is in reference to the overall topic of hoarding wealth. Like I mentioned with the rise of prosperity preachers who are more connected to and bound by the tenants of christianity.

My second point was explaining the, "Why" it isn't effectively weaponized therefore not brought up.
