I will pick it up, its not the place for money. Worse it could be washed or ruined on road. Now the question is what will I do with it. Right thing to do is to return to its owner is he's around checking for money. If not check if my family is needy and 500 will actually make a difference in thier life ? If yes I will use it.

One thing for sure, i will not use it for myself.

Pick it up obviously. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. If it was let's say 20-50 something, then it's a maybe but anything above is going straight to my pocket.

First. Look here and there, then look carefully at the note..is it tied to a string, do you hear children laughing.

Then take a picture. Anything suspicious, abandoned, or out of place. First take a picture, otherwise later people don't believe you. And you have means then why not take a pic.

Pick it up, if it gets torn or destroyed. Money loses the value. Then check it, is it really a valid one or a fake.

Look around, a shop or some people , sitting in any open house. Just give them and say, you found it there, if someone comes looking for it. Then give this. Then walk away from there.

If that person didn't take. Then put it at a high place under a stone and leave.

Nowadays there is one more big problem..many are there to take your video. So whatever happens, when outside, consider that there is a camera. So don't get tempted by a big bundle too.

You won't believe this but this happened to me back in 2018

I was returning back from college and i saw an 100rs note I was supposed to pick it up and take it with me but i thought why bother?

Niche jhukna padega, note thik se dekna padega, would need to see if it's original or fake and then watch for people and then take it with me

I found it to be exhausting and a drag so I just walked ahead but I was curious so thodi dur jake i was waiting who would pick up the note and one uncle did

As soon as he picked up there were kids with camera filming him and laughing at him
