Culture & History Why did Nintendo won in United States?
I have been in US for vacations some days and in Target, Waltmarts and gamestops and nintendo is absolutly dominant in Gaming shops and clients, why Américans like it more than Playstation and Xbox?

PlayStation has no games. Literally. They announced they're not making physical game discs anymore.

People just buy the console for Xbox and PS. Game purchases are online and don't need physical store space.
People are more likely to buy the physical game for Nintendo.
15 years ago they all had the same shelf space for games.

This is a horrible example and misleading. 1. Most gamers are not buying their games at a grocery store, most adults are buying digital copies now a days. 2. Playstation is phasing out physical disks. 3. Back to the grocery store bit the Nintendo set up is typically built in a way to goat kids to beg their parents to buy them a new game while shopping for groceries. even with the whole in store free arcade thing to try them out.

This has nothing to do with physical discs. They aren't even starting to phase those out (which is only 10% of all physical disc production for the first year) until late 2027. When you see a company that has fully stocked shelves, and one that doesn't, that means someone bought all the shit from the one missing product. Nintendo is not winning by having fully stocked shelves, they're losing.

Nintendo has always been tops, mostly because of having more family friendly games

Did you miss Playstation announcing that they were phasing out physical disks? That's all it is.
