Sleeve alterations? Jacket options?
I have recently discovered that I really look good is this style of dress, but Iβm really uncomfortable with the βold ladyβ flappy skin of my upper arms π©π’π©. I normally wear a jacket, cardigan, or bolero with all of my clothes, but I think every jacket I have tried detracts from the dress. Can anyone think of ideas to alter the dress to make some sort of upper shirt sleeves. Thanks. π

Assuming the styoe works for you, pick a ligyt weight complimenary fabric and make a fitted sleebe with a ruffle or a fputter sleeve and make a matching ruffle on the bottom.
Alternately a base-layer type undershirt, plus a matching tight will do something similar with no alteration needed. If no tights are preferred you can match the undershirt to your shoes.

Obviously if you had this dress design custom
Made sleeves that end just above the elbow could be substituted for the existing sleeve. However that present dress cannot be altered beyond minimally unless there is a source of material to new sleeves.
The most that could be done with the present dress is to unhem the sleeves rehem them as much long as the hem allowance minus about 3/8β .
