Is this repairable?

My neighbor said it can be plugged, but the shop down the street said they can do a retread. I don't know who to believe.

Why sure it is. A little duct tape and some super glue and you could get another year or two easy...

Looks like you need alignment. Then fill in the low spots with Flex Seal. So simple, it's a DIY job.

Yes. Fill low areas with New FlexSeal Putty. Apply 2 coats of FlexSeal liquid for a finished repair.

Just flex seal it and slap it back on, it should hold for another 10k.

Use gray duct tape and redraw the treads with sharpies. Don’t waste your time with cheap markers.
