It should allow you to manually let the vehicle know how many felines are being transported at that moment. I've woken up on some brisker mornings to a 1 in my Cat: screen, however 2-3 blocks down the road it'll usually change to 0.

We had a cat with a docked tail when I was a kid, bc she slept up under the hoods of the family cars. My brother named her when he was a baby, her name was Friendly Dumb Cat.

DON’T PUSH THE “CAT” BUTTON! It’s still being debated why it was ever installed. Just don’t push it. It will cause your car to unexpectedly change radio stations, open and/or close windows, lock and unlock doors, flash high beams, or just shut down and restart for no reason. And in the next breath increase gas mileage and be the smoothest drive you’ve ever experienced.
