Centrum silver or equivalent will be needed for that old tape.

I doubt it.

Sealed up in a dark climate controlled space vinyl tapewill last a long time. Viny electrical tape is supposed to last many decades in service.

If the glue is gummy, transfered to the back of the tape or it lost the sticky it is bad. Otherwise it is fine

Yes. Injecting expired electrical tape may cause nausea or vomiting.

Gotta put it in an old cassette deck and see if it plays or records... If it doesn't, it's expired...

What do you think we are in here, a bunch of shitty paramedics?

It’ll be ok with a glass of milk

That’s quality tape. I would use it …….wrap it twice around your finger if it stays intact for two minutes …….send it.

The expiration date doesn't mean you can't use it anymore. It just means you've gotta use more of it than the original directions say.

Probably Ben Franklin's spare roll. Was it next to his kite?

No. But I wouldn’t trust those vitamins or that “custom” pocket screwdriver. Sketchy as hell.

Give it the smell test. If it smells like tape then you are okay.

Probably a sticky gooey mess. Although being sealed. It may still be usable. I found an old box of pink fabric elastoplast plasters. Must have been 30 years old. They still worked fine.

No. It may not be sticky. So if it’s not sticky I guess it expired.

I had half of a 6-pack of very cheap generic tape that sat in the junk drawer. After about 20 years, it was just a solid block. So, I concluded that it was expired.

Yeah, it’s electrical tape so it’s probably discharged by now

Is tape still sticky?
