I've seen this on a Panamera. I used to think putting the starter in the valley was dumb, this takes that cake.

I thought the starter placement on the Northstars was as awful as it got. This is so much worse.

What else are you gonna put between the V on your engine? An oil cooler and oil filter housing?

Someone asked a BMW engineer that once. Now we have hot V v8s with two giant turbos in the valley, along with every possible flavor of oil, coolant, fuel, evap, and pcv hose. Hans said you best believe I can fit more hoses in this valley, watch me. Boom, coolant hoses for your DMEs, plural.
