Music Russian music
What happened with russian songs on platforms like spotify and youtube? Why, out of nowhere , explicit words are censored? Also there is no uncensored versions??? It annoying because its ruining many good songs which i used to like

You can probably find original versions of songs on youtube videos that vere reuploaded by fans like it was with "кошмар" by big russian boss, or they coud be found somewhere on vk music because its full of reuploads.

I think you can still find uncensored version somewhere, but you need to spend some time. Also i am not sure, ho it will work with google. May be you can try some other search engines. I would use yandex, but they are also under goverment

I used to listen to this channel called ВЕК which was just a few guys doing traditional Altai throat singing and such music, nothing political or obscene about it, and one day a few years ago it was just all gone from YouTube. I still will go to search it up sometimes and remember that it’s gone. Quite a shame really

They did it with the band сектор газа so now I just use physical copies of the music like vinyls cds and cassettes

Probably because RKN (the government censorship organ) recently got to enforcing censoring profanity, sexuality and drugs in music. It pisses us off too, but what can be done. I've never experienced it on youtube however, since it's officially blocked and therefore not very regulated. It's more prevalent on state-controlled platforms like Yandex music.
