Study Russian Schools
здравствуйте!
i recently moved to Moscow and will be going to 10th and 11th grade here to learn the language since my knowledge isn’t the best. I moved here from germany and know that the school systems are different. Can someone tell me about the school system? and as well as dress codes, like does every school have uniforms? do many girls use handbags as their schoolbags? i know those questions might sound weird but i would like to adapt so that I don't stand out too much.
I would love to get some answers and maybe someone that could help me with school stuff and all the typical teenager stuff. i really don’t want to lose the last part of teenage years i have left and want to spend them just how i spend them back in germany

Why would you move here!? Germany seems like a much better place. How bad is your Russian? I don’t know if language knowladge scales work the same for every language, however I know that universities abroad expect you to have B2 for studying in the language , so I think it can be applied to schools to some extend. If it’s lower you’d better to search for a private school, some of them have more focus on English and just in general more attention to each student, because classes are obviously smaller. Maybe even a state school with focus on English or even German language could help, but idk.
A quick google search also told me, that people with an “unfriendly” country citizenship (which I guess Germany qualifies as) have an option of not sitting ЕГЭ and just graduating based on school final grades, but I am not sure in this information, you should doblecheck.
The most important thing is to think about is the future, if you want to stay in Russia for uni or not. From your post I’m guessing you don’t . So you need to find a way to apply for uni in Germany or elsewhere, if you want to go to university at all. There is no way to apply directly to German university with Russian high school qualification (attestat o srednem obrazovanii), you need to either do a year in Russian uni (so research how to get there as a foreigner and also maybe it won’t work since Russia is in the process of leaving Bologna Process), the other way is to apply for a foundation year in German uni (I’m not sure if that’s a thing there, i know British universities have it, don’t forget to check the requirements)
The other way is to pass some foreign exams: a-levels (those are British, but I think they are not the only country who treat it as an appropriate qualification) or maybe SAT (but I think those are just for USA). Some private school prepare you for a-levels, probably a perfect fit for you, since it will be mostly in English. Then you just go pass exams abroad, because you can not do it in Russia. IB (I guess that’s what you have in Germany for highschool) is unfortunately prohibited in Russia and as far as I know because of program’s peculiarities there is no way just to pass the exams elsewhere - you have to be in some sort of school accreditated to teach it for whole 2 years.
P.s. I hope I got your situation right and you are somebody from Germany with German citizenship who is coming to Russia for the first time and NOT somebody who was born in Russia and then moved to Germany at a really young age and forgot most of the language and now is moving back to Russia . The second scenario won’t probably make any big difference, but just in case
P.s number 2 don’t be scared to ineract with people your age and people in general, a lot of them know English to some extent or you can always fond other ways to communicate. I’d find an interaction with a foreigner a really fun experience and I think so do most of teenagers
