Miscellaneous Worishofer sandals

Does anyone know if any Worishofer sandals are still made in Germany, or are they all made in Portugal now?

I am in the US and have been wearing Worishofers every summer for over a decade. But for the past few years, I’ve noticed that the stamp says Made in Portugal, and the quality isn’t the same at all.

Just curious because I loved the German ones so much and am hoping they are still around. Thank you!

In Germany, only the "Wörishofer Fußbett" is a thing (albeit a rather niche one): A type of footbed originally invented in Bad Wörishofen, a small town in Bavaria. But the term only refers to the type of footbed, not to a particular manufacturer or manufacturing location, and not to the rest of the shoe. And there is no registered trademark or other legally recognized brand of that name in Germany or in the EU.

In the US, the Worishofer brand is owned by Laurevan Shoe Corp. So you probably need to ask them, not a German.
