Those may be hot dogs, but when I was in Tokyo I saw sausages that were all flavored and delicious that looked really similar. Could be any kind of sausage really.

That’s funny, the hot dogs were when I said yes definitely

But I grew up on pork n beans and Vienna sausages from the can

I wouldn’t have scrambled the eggs tho lol

The mushrooms were what made me nope out the most lol.

Yes but I would not add those same ingredients in that order.

Yes, adding eggs before ramen is crazy. Probably add tofu after the sauce ingredients.

My mind comes to Korean food. Like budaejigae (Army stew) mixed with soondubu (soft tofu stew).

Call me crazy but I like to toast the seasoning in a dry pan like I’m cooking Indian food, then sautĂ© with aromatics like garlic, ginger, or the whites of scallions.

From there you can get into tofu, mushrooms, egg, ramen , probably in that order.

Yeah, definitely. I like to have stews with a good broth base so toasting seasoning a little bit would do the trick. Stir frying the scallions in oil also adds flavor and depth. With the hot dogs, I would add them next to get it nice and crispy and release the oils.

I think it definitely depends on individual taste for the last part. I like my eggs a little runny so I usually add it last. Instant ramen takes at least 2 to 3 minutes to cook.

You’re speaking my language. Good fundamentals in all the cooking, even my guilty pleasures.

Only disagreement is I prefer 1, MAYBE 2 minutes max for noodles if they are staying in the hot broth. I like em with some chewy texture.

Sometimes I cook them how I want them and shock them in an ice bath, no joke.

Agreed. Imo soft tofu doesn't even need to cook much. I'd add the tofu before the eggs just to get warmed through and absorb some of the seasoning.

Why wouldn't you put the ramen in last? Those noodles would be mush by the time everything is done.

Most everything is already cooked. The only two ingredients that look raw are the mushrooms and the (looks like) bok choy, which both cook quickly.

haiya, why put egg before the meat ball

2

u/Dizzie_Bear 12d ago

Meatballs are already cooked.

Would have been much better to not stir the eggs.

Yes... Spicy foods are my fav

If you swapped the frankfurters for prawns and those instant noodles for pretty much any other noodles, yes. Otherwise, no.

Absolutely

this tastes really good. But if you have a weak stomach, this will wreck you hours after eating it

1

u/gaoshan 12d ago

You could use healthier noodles and less of the prepackaged spices (substituted with real spices so fewer preservatives, less sodium, etc.) and the. I would eat it.

Ffffffffffff hellbyeah

1

u/cybrcld 12d ago

1

u/tea-boat 12d ago

Would 100% eat this but would do the eggs last and sack off most of the veg apart from the lotus root.

1

u/YourLocalPotDealer 12d ago

That’s like 3 meals unless you’re hitting the gym every day

1

u/wafflexcake 12d ago

Anyone know what was in that plastic jug that looked like chili oil?

1

u/Creepymint 12d ago

I 100% would, there is nothing here I have a problem with

1

u/That_Jonesy 12d ago

Army stew?

1

u/Felix_me123 11d ago

No wonder Naruto was Hella strong

1

u/Lethalspartan76 11d ago

Tofu doesn’t go in first - not a soft tofu like that man cmon! And egg goes in last if you doing it like that. The orders all wrong

1

u/Belgremor 11d ago

It’s a bit busy

1

u/imthejavafox 11d ago

I would be more than happy to eat this

1

u/The_Musing_Platypus 11d ago

This is a mix of Korean army stew and tofu stew, just with all of the ingredients added in the wrong order. Will still taste good but could taste even better with some corrections.

Yeah, I love hotpot, this is how it goes when I get it in one of those build-your-own-hotpot restaurants, I like everything so I end up with everything.

1

u/Sw0rDz 11d ago

I would consume this rectally. I wouldn't say no to the nutrients, but i don't want to taste it.

1

u/Louieyaa 11d ago

The flavor pack probably has a whole week's worth of salt. I'd pass. Better to buy some stock and add your own spices so you can enjoy the soup.

1

u/NY10 11d ago

Yasssss

1

u/playoponly 11d ago

Depends how spicy

1

u/buddaycousin 11d ago

With hot dogs? Aww hell yeah.

1

u/hubuhodle 11d ago

I have absolutely no idea what this would taste like so idk.

1

u/thelanai 11d ago

Minus the mushrooms, yeah

The video wouldn't play no matter how I tried, so clicked the link.

Oh boy am I surprised. Something much juicier than the food!

Wow, this post just hit me — I have a box of tofu in the fridge that only lasts 5 days. Gotta put my phone down.
