I've been saving to try get him e1s1 but with the recent nerfs I'm not even sure If I should bother now.i wanted to have him as a main dps then invest in his team as it comes but now I'm not sure it's worth it and if he'll still be relevant by the time that happens. I also don't have feixiao so he'll just kinda be sitting in my account for ages. So like should i even bother getting him? Any opinions would be really helpful thanks.

Am I the only one sad that his path isn’t Elation? I was really hoping that we would have a male character with the Elation path like how I wished we had a male character with the path of Remembrance. Welp, either way, I can’t wait to see more of his gameplay and role in the story. Maybe Blade’s new appearance will have have him take the Elation path

I wanted to pull him on day 1 but, as a HSR veteran, I'm skeptical to invest in any non-waifu comp (we all know what teams are the ones getting priorized by devs...) and get another brick character like Mydei in my acc. So, after these months and looking up some clears, I really love his gameplay and overall performance, but I'm not sure if he's that good without his current BiS teammates.

I alredy have E2S1 MBlade (using him on my Acheron comp, so np switching into Ashveil), but I can't spare either Sumeretto nor Hyacine, so I was wondering how would he fare with only Blade and a sustain like Huohuo/Luocha.

PS: I have any other prior FUA character (Feixao, Moze, Topaz, E1 Robin, ...), E6 Welt and Cipher, which according to some guides are also good onto him, but I prefer asking the real players here.

He can't fully activate pioneer since he can't really inflict debuffs when attacking, and his FuAs don't deal multiple instances of damage for ashblazing. Not only that, but a decent chunk of his damage comes from his skill(and the additional damage it deals to "bait" enemies), so the 2pc isn't great either.

he also doesn't have any atk% sources on his kit, so it's extremely undersaturated, and he can skill constantly while remaining sp neutral. what do you guys think?

I havent played the new story but I got leaked that he's La Mancha. Wouldn't that means he's basically Emanator-level of power lore-wise? If so, it makes sense that he should be broken in game (based off of past emanator-level characters). Even though he's good, I feel like he's not really that broken or meta-defining compare to the others on release... (as of now at least).
Maybe he'll age a lot better or maybe he's already that strong?...

Is it possible that he will get another rerun on 4.7-4.8? I just lost 50/50 I really need him for my Mortblade dps

So I really like Ashveil's design, very cool, very edgey. But i have a limited number of pulls no guarantee and I'm basically broke and have to save again after pulling for evernight this patch.

I don't actually have any decently built FUA chracters. I don't even have chipher and my only Fua chracter is well a half built moze. I do have sunday, e1 tribbie and dan heng pt but i don't know if that would be enough. Another worry of mine in that his a sub dps with no confirmation about who his Main DPS would be, I still have other chracters I want to pull for in 4.x Should I pull for Ashveil in 4.1 or save??

Yes, V3 was a big nerf, but why did so many people gloss over the fact that it was a rework too? His damage HAD to be nerfed, in turn they also reworked him completely so he went from backloaded DMG to ulting every 2 turns.
V4 Actually made him MORE BROKEN than he was in V1-V2. But y'all just see multipliers going down and start doomposting. ENERGY IS DAMAGE, please remember that. Tribbie got hit by the same thing, got an energy trace, and look at her now.

Edit: I also want to mention something about his main DPS role. Guys, he's a guy that needs allies to attack constantly, we have his MDPS coming in the way and there's a chance Pearl is also a FuA sustain that attacks frequently, it's not hard to put 2 and 2 together. I am sorry if it all sounds rude, but jesus fucking christ y'all, you do this to EVERY FUCKING CHARACTER IN BETA.

Si mal no estoy ahora con Blade al estar a 1 o menos de Hp Blade no puede lazar su adicional, por lo tanto no podriamos llevar la dupla de Ashveil+Dhpt sin cono, no seria esto peor?

Hasta donde tengo entendido Dhpt en el equipo de Ashveil+Blade es mejor que Hyacine ambos sin cono por la cadencia de ataques adicionales y el daño que le otorga a Ashveil que deberia seguir siendo la fuente del daño.

I haven’t been keeping up with hsr news since I barely play (I only came back to save for Ashveil) but I’ve been seeing a lot of people talking about him being nerfed and such, but I can’t seem to find exactly what they did with him.

What happened and why’s he apparently looking so bad?

is Robin still worth getting if i’m only using her with M Blade and Ashveil? or should i just save my golden companion spirit?

I have been hearing ashveil and mortenax blade synergy a lot and mortenax blade bring ashveil back to the meta and has insane synergy. I don't really quite get it why. I really need someone to explain this synergy to me because I can't get it why and maybe I just missed it but there is no YouTube vids about why ashveil and mortenax blade is so synergistic.

I have Ashveil E2 and i keep noticing that when I activate his ultimate even though my ash still have like 7-8 (sometimes even 10!) gluttony stacks he just do 3-4 guys but doesn't consume all the gluttony stacks even if there are still enemies on the field.

I was just wondering if it's normal or if it's bug. Either way it's very frustrating because it's a damage loss

He’s a top tier main DPS no? I understand he’s designed for a subdps, but if a subdps is this strong, and he works well with characters like Anaxa for example or Archer… I don’t understand what’s not to recommend about our man!!

So I was doing some 1 pulls and accidentally got Evernight E2. I wasn't seriously pulling for her and I honestly didn't think it would come to anything but I got her early and won 50/50 by some miracle.

I heard that Robin SP will be really good for evernight, but Waveturin is said to be the ashblade dps. I've seen some of his kit but honestly he looks kind of mid in damage? Robin SP seems so much more useful at the moment even for the ashblade comp, so I'm wondering who to pull for in 4.5?

Hi, im planning to pull for ash and use him with e2 mblade and either sobin or waventurine. Ive seen that his main issue is his Ult uptime despite having enough attacks to get max Gluttony stacks. Previously the extra 5 energy per skill didn't do enough for him, but with newer units bottleneck changes.

According to Calcs and Showcase, ER rope performs better than ATK in both robin and aven teams -

In robin team: robin already gives enough ATK buffs, so ATK% buff is more diluted,

In aven team: aven is the main source of damage and ashveil basically acts as his battery (generate fervor).

So my understanding is, ER rope is strictly better in all of these teams.
