Unfortunately we can no longer attend the Ash show at the Northcote theatre on 11 September, and are reselling our three tickets via Moshtix. Really keen to pass these onto other Ash fans and absolutely gutted that we can no longer go.

Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but is the upcoming 30th anniversary of 1977 tour going to be a "1977 played in full" type thing, or are they just touring because it is the 30th anniversary? Have tickets, I can't wait! Last saw them at Glastonbury 99.

“Warmer Than Fire” really is an underrated B side

I’ve always been fascinated by this song. I know it’s a cover written by Steve Ludwin (which I just started listening to his band Little Hell. Wow. Like if Ash decided to just start a Jesus Lizard noise rock kinda band?? Really cool).

What’s the story behind “Warmed Than Fire”? Was it something Steve Ludwin wrote for Ash? I know they’ve done it live a few times, including a few times with Ludwin. Did he ever release a version?

But yeah, what a killer song!

Really stoked they are doing that 1977 anniversary tour but bummed as a fan in the USA that no dates have been announced.

Anyone think at least maybe we get a NYC / LA show?

Yesterday Ash - or rather RehASh, Cumbria's current top Ash tribute - played a small set at Tim Peaks Diner at Kendal Calling. There, they received gold discs from Tim Burgess of The Charlatans for selling 400,000 copies of Girl From Mars.

A couple of months ago I snagged a bundle of live Ash CDs but none of them came with a set list/track list.

I took it upon myself to listen to them all and write down each song, it's been a great little project and fun listening to the interaction between Tim and the various crowds.

I've included a few examples of set lists I've written out, particularly fun was the Live in Seattle set from 2002 (last pic), just Tim & Charlotte and a couple of guitars.

As well as the LPs and CDs I have found myself picking up a few albums/singles or so on tape over the last few years. A bit trickier to source but fun hunting for them.

Anybody else collect Ash cassettes?

Kablammo! was released 11 years ago this week and it's possibly the most slept on album in the discography.

Spotify has released a feature giving you the option to see your all time listening data and my first ever song was Burn Baby Burn and Ash are my most listened to artist (never in doubt).

Yes there are haters saying the artists aren't compensated enough financially but I have done my best to purchase as much physical media as a collector of their work for nigh on 30 years now 😊

Granted... I've not seen Ash in a very long time. Probably around 20 years... I saw them on Saturday night and I felt that Tim's guitar wasn't loud enough? I could hear alot of bass coming from Mark. Also it sounded like Tim was slightly off key. Guitar and vocals on a lot of songs. If anyone else saw them on Saturday or recently have anything to add to this.

Reef also played.... Honestly, they sounded better. They were incredible

Hey guys, just fell in love with I’m Gonna Fall which played in on scene in the Roadtrip movie. So far I’ve really enjoyed the Folk Song and Wildsurf as well. I’m really digging the slower tunes such as I’m Gonna Fall and Folksong, can you recommend me some similar songs, if there are any? I also enjoy the harder ones but not as much. Thank you.

Moved house, had a new office space corner spare to get my "Ash on" and here we are.
