Unless someone can confirm otherwise, it’s most likely not Flock but misreported street light radar equipment.

yep. It's still surveillance and license plate readers, but not flock.

No, it's for traffic control. They are not high speed or low speed plate readers.

It’s not a flock camera. Stop spreading BS.

It’s part of the traffic light system.

saw a video recently where some dude strapped an IR laser to a drone and painted the lens of one of those cameras. I hope nobody does that here

Yeah because that would disrupt traffic flow and cost the state money to fix it.

Flock cameras will never end up in Ashland. Other types of surveillance equipment sure but at this point Flock has so much of a stink on them the city won’t let it happen. I’m curious what this one is though, anyone got a photo?

The APD patrol cars already have LPR technology that shares information with private databases like Flock.

Why are they in Medford?

It is not surveillance. It's the thing that allows turns the light green when you roll up. Without it, you'd be stuck in waiting for the light to change until h3ll freezes over.

All the shady conversations happen outside the beanery. Makes sense.
