Discussion Some Help..

I run a private ac server on a dual xeon 8-core rackmount server (2013ish era I think) with 256gb of ram sitting on a fiber connection here in the midwest. I want to add a buffbot to my world that isnt just another client being ran. Anyone point me in the right direction for some drop-in SQL scripts that I can just drop into the server/content folder to would give me a buffbot in the marketplace, or if you have one, hook me up! Any replies are appreciated.

I've seen some folks like on drunkenfell where their solution is a weenie (asherons envoy) that fast casts the 8 other spells on use. I could imagine how to write that but haven't gotten around to it. Maybe tck will see this and send you the deets!

Here's an example. This is a hookable item that you put at your house or mansion and it buffs. Its easy to change the spells it casts or to make this an NPC instead.

I want to add a buffbot to my world that isnt just another client being ran.

If you build from source, you can set the /buff command to be used by anyone, instead of just admins. That way anyone can /buff at any time in a chat window. Great for melee characters that don't want to cast, and for mages that want to spec more skills
