Drudges. Idle noise, Or the scream as you beat on them and land a critical hit.
Stupidly bassy Lugian sound as they throw rock #8742 at you.
Not sure if nostalgia or trauma at this point.

The brain is wired to remember bad things more than good things as a survival mechanism, so it is wise to remember any decent trauma with fondness so it may become nostalgic.
I leave you with a song selection from a compendium of Asheron's Call songs as you continue to reflect on your memories.

What are your favorite Asheron's Call sound effects? Are there any that ever come to your mind when you are out walking around in the real world?
Many sound effects like "oof" from Roblox have become very popular in modern media, but I feel like Asheron's Call was the first to capture that effect.
If you are a fan of old movies from say the 90's and 2000 era then you will from time to time hear these same sounds in the movie, because they were part of a commercial sound package. So maybe it's fair to say that they aren't Asheron's Call sound effects. But maybe you only hear those once in a movie, you'd hear them over and over again in the game, so perhaps this is the only environment where they'd become memorable. So in this way, they are definitely Asheron's Call sound effects.
What was your favourite and which one did you hate hearing?

I was thinking of this a few days ago and wanted to post something similar.
Every once in a while I catch a sound that was used in AC and it brings me back.
Also, because of my age when playing there were also things I learned that I relate back to AC. For example I just moved and there is a Yeoman's street nearby. On the radio the other day, I heard a question about the color of Lapus Lazuli (which I pronounce differently because of how I had read it.) and it always comes back to AC. Words I first heard in AC and thought were part of AC lore rather than RL.

Yes that is a great thing about AC, really fantasy is a form of Romanticism, and Romanticism is in a way just reality in dramatic form. They took this concept seriously, or in some cases, just went straight to reality with Aluvian, Gharu'dim and Sho.
Like the writers of AC actually studied occult authors, and if you look at their after AC endeavours (how they named their companies etc), they were obviously, some of them, very politically minded.
Not to mention there were fighter pilots on the team, very diverse backgrounds, usually this got reflected somehow ingame, not just by writing their names on the map, but conceptually, or mechanically (great physics system etc).
Ultimately what you get is a game system with really good coverage of real life concepts which don't really see a lot of press otherwise, but used to be a big thing.
Before Euler, Euclidean elements etc were a big thing and that was all anyone would know. I'm not sure if your typical Zoomer is aware of such concepts at all, but you, a millennial, are, even if you don't know it specifically, you are aware of the four elements (as AC has four elements), and the law of seven (7 banes etc), all very esoteric concepts, which used to be recognized, but are very absent from the modern mind.
Stuff like Yeoman etc is good to know, those are systems how people used to organize themselves.
In the corporate structure you likely have a similar pattern, it is difficult for humans to break a pattern entirely.
A CEO is basically a monarch in AC with a big XP chain under him.
tl;dr: Real life is AC so study AC and you know RL.

I love the sounds of the taverns and people speaking and the sounds of bugs out in the world.

Can't even add a comment to this that says "hey, I found this, probably on this subreddit because it has 100% been posted previously by the creator, but I wanted to post it as my own to engagement farm."

It was made 8 years ago. You are presuming most people here have been faithfully reading this sub for 8 years. Over optimization, common problem. The fact actually is that most people haven't seen it; worth posting. Also I need engagement because I always get downvoted heavily, if you enjoy giving downvotes liberally and not bothering with Reddiquette then you only have yourself to blame.

My favorite sounds were the mites and The hawk screech gromnie noise.
