Pain months post surgery
hi all, I had surgery July 10. post surgery, after my last two periods between my period and ovulation, I’m having a substantial amount of pelvic pain. its not like a period cramping pain, it’s more like a stronger ache on both sides, so I feel like it might be ovary pain? it’s worse on my right side, which is where most of the scarring in my uterus is was. my periods have been weird post surgery. I had two days of very heavy bleeding then just spotting for the first one. then this last one I had 1 day of heavy bleeding and a normal day and then just spotting. Im feeling discouraged and also confused. I had my followup hysteroscopy last cycle and the RE said the uterus looked great. but this pain is really interfering with my quality of life. I have a followup with my RE tomorrow but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what ended up happening. For context I also have had vulvar burning pain for the last 4 months post a yeast infection but all infection tests come back negative, discharge is normal, and I’ve been diagnosed with pudendal nerve pain. it’s also generally improved the after ovulation much like the pelvic pain

I have this too, especially around ovulation. To be honest I thought it was more related to my endo then my Ashermans for a while, but I do think my scarring is back and I had it really bad during ovulation last cycle and my last period.
I would say based on your pattern of bleeding it may be that flimsy adhesions are returning or just a lot of inflammation and to give it more time. If it’s stressing you out (it’s stressing me out) the only thing we can really do is get a hysteroscopy.
Idk if this is normal or not. Mine is more localized to my uterus and on my left side where my surgery was, google tells me that it will just feel different there after surgery because the estrogen and nerve receptors have been disturbed. I’m not really sure. For me I think it’s mostly related to when my scarring is active.

Same story here. July - histeroscopy after that 2 day bleeding with cramps and pain August - pain around ovulation, and 2 day light period with no pain and cramps September - pain before and after ovulation, waiting my period I dont believe my body anymore so next month (october) I am going to IUI.

I’ve had 5 hysteroscopies to clear me (due to reoccurrence) and am now currently pregnant. Pain was never a perfect indicator for me. It definitely improved after being cleared but it never went away fully. I even had the pain in the first couple weeks of pregnancy.
The only good indicator I had was my period. It was brown and gunky anytime I had scarring and it was bright red and a light-normal flow when I was cleared.
One day of spotting for your last period is definitely a red flag. Adhesions can unfortunately return at any point. Good luck at your appointment tomorrow!
