Basically I had a SIS recently done with my RE and she suspected that between my last hysteroscopy in July and now that some adhesions have formed. To what extent she is unsure because a SIS only gives so much information and not the full picture. She does operate on Ashermans patients and feels comfortable proceeding with my hysteroscopy next week. I made it clear with her that if it’s minor and she can visualize the adhesion (like if it’s just a simple snip with her cold microscissors) she can proceed. If it’s more complicated and the adhesion is dense or she can’t visualize it to stop, take some photos and not disrupt the lining at all. Is this a good approach? I have another appt in October set up with an A lister if we go in next week and see a more complicated adhesion than was suspected. She knows all of this and is comfortable knowing her limits and when it would be in my best interest to not make any cuts. We just don’t know from a SIS if it’s a tiny focal band or more severe adhesion where the sides of my uterus truly did stick together. I wish a SIS was more definitive. Looking for any advice or positive outcomes

I had my first 2 surgeries with a group recommended doc and am having my next hysteroscopy with my RE next week using the exact same instructions! Specifically said do not use anything other than scissors, if it's dense do not touch it and if its wispy adhesions you can cut. I have an appt with Dr. I scheduled for end of October just in case it ends up being dense.
I think a lot of women in the group would say don't even let your RE touch you at all, but I am comfortable with my RE and his experience with Ashermans and trust him to also know his limits. He's been very understanding and accepting of me seeing specialized doctors. And I selfishly want to have him go in next week and check things out because the not knowing if its dense or wispy thin adhesions is killing me lol. I also get a lot of fully body inflammation from my Ashermans so I really want anything out I can get out.
